Here’s When Baldur’s Gate 3 Preload And Early Access Starts For Aussie PS5 Players

The gates are opening soon.

Developer Larian Studios has revealed the exact dates and times that PlayStation 5 owners will be able to start pre-loading one of this year’s most celebrated bear romancing simulators RPGs, the one and only Baldur’s Gate 3.

The game will be releasing across two separate dates, depending on whether players are picking up the standard flavour of the game or the Digital Deluxe Edition, with the latter going live a full four days early. Thankfully, the studio has shared the exact times we can expect to see the game drop, so we can convert those to the Aussie equivalent and start practicing our best “I’m just don’t feeling great, y’know?” lines for the inevitable call to work:

Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 Australian Release Times

The times below apply to September 3rd for Digital Deluxe Edition owners and September 7th for standard owners.

  • 2 AM AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)

Along with release timing, Larian also shared the dates and times that players on PS5 who’ve pre-ordered the game digitally will be able to begin pre-loading it – it’s a big game, so anyone hoping to get stuck in as early as possible should definitely be thinking about pre-loading the game:
