Update: Dotemu has finally revealed when fans can get their hands on the huge DLC expansion for the excellent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and it’s soon!
The Dimension Shellshock DLC, which adds two new fighters in Karai and Miyamoto Usagi along with a dimension-jumping new Survival game mode, new music from Tee Lopes and extra colour schemes for the game’s playable cast, is set to launch on August 31st.

Original Story: Dotemu and Tribute Games have announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – Dimension Shellshock, a brand-new DLC expansion to 2022’s excellent retro brawler.
Although details including a release date are still scarce, Dimension Shellshock will reportedly feature an all-new game mode, new character colour palettes, new music tracks from Tee Lopes and new playable characters – one of which has been revealed to be the iconic samurai rabbit, Usagi Yojimbo.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – Dimension Shellshock will be coming to all of the game’s original platforms including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC at a to-be-confirmed date. We gave the base game a stunning 9/10 in our original review, saying “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is the gaming revamp equivalent of the time Donatello took a perfectly good Volkswagen bus and upcycled it into the high-tech, tubular AF Turtle Van. Hitch a ride, dudes.”
